The domain ASIA.net sold at the Moniker T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Auction on the 18th June 2008 for $50,000, but its NOT a four letter domain! It’s a geographic dictionary generic. It still amazes me that so many people compare high quality dictionary generics with random quad letter domains.
In any case, this is an excellent buy in my opinion and I believe it is worth more than the 50K price tag it adorned when it left the auction room. The name now sits in joint 91st position amongst the hundred highest reported and verified domain sales at DNJournal.
