Reece of Four Letter Noob has opened his site, BQB.com, for BETA testing! In this phase of testing Reece has decided to restrict access to recognised members of Namepros and DNForum only. He is manually accepting a limited number of user accounts so if you would like to take part in the BETA testing, PM Reece on either forum as soon as possible!
I am extremely excited about this project and its potential to advance the short domain name market! Having a dedicated site for the trade of short domains will boost their standing in the domain name aftermarket and its undoubted success will provide proof to those who have little faith in the niche that it can prevail!
After you have signed up you can take part in this thread on Namepros to put forward development suggestions for the site. I wish Reece every success with BQB and you can be sure to find me there on a regular basis!

Hi Rich,
Just wanted to thank you for the writeup on BQB! BQB has had a very large number of applications of the last day, so I have to give credit where it’s due — to bloggers like you and Michael Goldman who’ve been ever so kind as to inform their readers about BQB
Being a domainer myself, I’m fully aware of how out of control commissions have gotten, reaching 20% at some venues and am ecstatic to provide domainers with a low cost, no commission alternative.
Many top domainers and auction venues compare domain names to real estate. If we go along with that analogy, then BQB is trying to be the Comfree of internet real estate. In short, we don’t expect people to pay us more money because their domains are worth more money.
If you own a domain worth $1M, that’s great and I’m happy for you — but why should I charge you a commission 1000x higher because your domain is worth 1000x more than someone else’s? Where’s the justification in that?
BQB is currently membership-free and commission free and will remain that way for the entire beta duration and remain that way permanently for anyone signing up at this point.
Once we get out of Beta, we’ll still be 100% commission free (we don’t believe in gouging our top sellers), but will charge a flat $99 annual membership fee.
We’ve gotten many new BQB applications over the last couple days and I can do nothing but thank the bloggers like you who’ve taken the time to help your readers find our site.
With best regards,
Reece Berg
