I’ve carried out some house keeping and added a few little extras to the site today. First stop was W3 to check on the validity of the sites code. It’s something everybody should do but never seems to get the time for. Many people’s perception is that if ‘it looks ok’ nothing more needs to be done. Not the case! Anyway, after a few minutes identifying errors and adjusting code I am now the proud owner of a ‘Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!’ website.
I still have a few issues with my css code (only 4 errors) but I’ve decided to save that for another day!
I have also added a new plugin which I spotted in use at DomainMagnate that allows commenter’s to subscribe to followup comments on a specific article. This is something I’ve been meaning to add for a while but never got round to finding a suitable plugin. ‘Subscribe to Comments 2‘ is excellent and I recommend it to everyone that runs a WordPress blog.
I have updated the Links page to include links to GFNB, LLLY and BQB.
I have also set up redirection from a few other domains I registered a while ago but forgot to set up including, quad-letter-domains.com, quadletterdomains.co.uk and quad-letter-domains.co.uk.
