To quote two fellow Namepro members and LLLL.com investors today…
TomB “…I feel like an addict, NEED MORE LLLL.coms!”
Filter “…I am serious, LLLL is domainer crack. Cheap, instant, often utterly meaningless gratification, with some serious money to be made in the trade, and a culture of wanton violence developing around it…”
I must addmit Filter’s posts do make me chuckle but at the end of the day I am just as guilty as them!… I find it hard to let a night pass without a four letter dot com purchase!
Check out Filters Ebay store ‘Fine Art Domains‘ to feed your addiction tonight!

We can only hope it’s not a bubble with all this frenzy, but because of its permanence and scarcity of domains, especially now that all 4-letter .coms have been taken, it seems like we can all revel at the practicality of this type of addiction, in that unlke other hobbies and dependency issues where losing money at it is part of the story, in this case you can actually get good returns, and use that excuse to feed our need to get our 4-letter fix. LOL

Thanks Rich …! I actually meant to put together some more profound thoughts on factors influencing the market going forward, but let the instinct for cheap laughs get the better of my cerebral side yet again!
“culture of wanton violence” …! LOL! One of the things that I’ve enjoyed most about being in this market is the friendly community of “great minds” (not necessarily thinking alike, but at least thinking) that has been forming in the threads and trades on NP.
But as far as market psychology goes - there is definitely something powerful going on as far as what happens when people start getting into the LLLL … I’ve seen it with buyers on eBay … first they buy one. Then they buy another. Then a few days later, they win 3 of my auctions. And ask for more. Then I notice them posting on NP …
I feel like I’m dealing in raw uncut Norwegian anti-premium marching powder here …
And when supply runs dry …. Oh man. Fuggedaboutit. Money is no object when peeps need their LLLL ….
Amazing stuff.

- I have to admit, I love reading ‘the lighter side’ of LLLL.com investment presented by the one and only, priceless!
You’ve proved my point!
