Firstly I would like to thank all of my readers, subscribers and those that help and support the four letter domain industry! Without you, Quad Letter Domains would probably have been long gone!
I would like to carry out a quick assessment of what you, the reader, wants from the site. I want to hear your opinion on the site as it is now and how I could improve it. No matter what your opinion, positive or negative I would like to hear your thoughts so if you could spare a minute or two to leave a comment I would be extremely grateful. Is there:
- something on the site that you don’t like and think I should stop doing it?
- something on the site that you do like and think I should do more of it?
- something new that you haven’t yet seen anywhere else that you would like to see here?
I am keen to hear any new ideas no matter how crazy they are, your comments are invaluable to improving and developing Quad Letter Domains! Thank you!

Michael does interviews every once in a while with other domainers on DomainMagnate.com — that could be a nice addition
4 letters is a pretty narrow subject — maybe open it up to domains 4 letters or shorter so you have more you can talk about like the recent 15 LLL.com sales at $40,000 apiece for example — I think most of your readers are also interested in the 3 letter market because most of us believe a healthy 3 letter market is crucial for a healthy 4 letter market.

Very good suggestions Reece… I will think about that and what questions I might ask. I did actually do an interview for Micheal but he hasn’t posted it not sure why, I might PM him…
The only problem with your second suggestion is that I have little experience of the three letter domain market… I only own a few and don’t really buy/sell… I like to be able to back up my articles with first hand knowlege… saying that I did report the 15 LLL.com sales in an article here I will try and diversify more!
Thanks for your feedback Reece, much appreciated.

You’re welcome Rich
I don’t know how I missed that article
Even if you go outside the short domain segment every once in awhile just so you could have more content — eg. cover stuff like Network Solutions and frontrunning.
I find one of the best inspirations for good writing is reading other people’s work. Lots of smart people in this industry like Mark Fulton (DotSauce), Dominik Mueller (dmueller.com), and most of the blogs at Domaining.com.
Sites like DomainNameNews, DomainNews, DomainNameWire, CircleID — lots of inspiration out there for good articles

I’m trying to work out the same thing with my domain. One idea, have some recent sales stats of 10-20 names on the right or left side of the page.

Good suggestion, I may do that… In fact I might list the domains I have bought recently to give people an idea of what I’m investing in… What do you think?

I used to do that on 4LN and it was quite popular. A lot of work to keep up if you do a lot of buying, but will definitely help get you some extra traffic, that’s for sure.

Nice blog Rich
I really like the look, nice template.
I guess more and longer posts would help, but I’m struggling with that myself!

Yours are some of the shortest I’ve seen!
I still check the blog every day though!
I had a really bad month in April when I hardly posted anything… that really hurt my traffic, I’m now trying my hardest to write at least one article a day but I believe quality is more important that quantity.
