As with everything tech related, the software I use for this site is updated more frequently it seems than I buy domains! WordPress has been ‘complaining’ for a few weeks now that I need to upgrade to the latest version. Its the sort of thing that you put off but then regret when something bad happens or your site gets hacked.
Today I stumbled on Vladimir’s site and his article on insuring your blog. A very informative article indeed and one that has certainly helped me so I thought I would post a quick snippet linking back to his article which is excellent and I advise anyone to read it and take notes!
I especially took notice of a plugin called ‘WordPress Automatic Upgrade’ which I have installed and used to faultlessly upgrade my WordPress installation to the latest version. I highly recommend it!

I’ve sworn off WP-Cache before due to the problems it gave us, but didn’t hear about WP Super Cache until now and Vladimir’s posts are way good.

An excellent article in my opinion, I’ve also installed the database backup plugin too and its now scheduled to email me a backup of my databse every week. No need to worry now, I think i’m fully covered!
